The Franciscan Institute has released its lineup of summer conferences for 2024. The series includes seminars, workshops, and conferences that aim to engage people in historical and contemporary issues related to Franciscan thought and charism. The lineup consists of two on-campus events, two virtual events, and several Franciscan Institute-sponsored conferences in Europe and North America. The summer will begin with a virtual Master Class on the theme "Mercy and Compassion in the Francis, Clare, and Early Franciscan Tradition." Franciscan Connections Franciscan Connections has transitioned into Franciscan Connections Blog This is a partnership between the Franciscan Institute and Tilberg University. Franciscan Connections is an international Franciscan blog that connects, communicates, and conveys the best of Franciscan learning in the twenty-first century. We make contemporary and applied Franciscan scholarship available to a wider world of scholars, educated professionals and communities of practice and a new generation of readers aware of the contribution that solid Franciscan scholarship can make on contemporary issues in politics, society, ethics, and church.
